"Amazing five star service at this insurance agency. The best I've ever experienced, and I'm 58 years old.

But, after over 40 years of near-perfect driving and successful experiences with programs like Progressive’s Snapshot and Allstate's Drivewise, State Farm’s "Drive Safe & Save" is a disappointment. It isn't a safety program; it's a poorly calibrated algorithm.

The telematics completely fail in suburban and urban areas like the Lehigh Valley, PA. The app constantly flags standard defensive driving. To get a perfect score, you would literally need to create unsafe traffic conditions as their system penalizes basic, necessary braking, acceleration and even turning.

By punishing drivers for avoiding accidents, State Farm is actually incentivizing driving behavior that very highly increases the risk of rear-end collisions or worse.

I have, on a daily basis, contested almost every single flagged "incident" because they represent safe, rational choices on the road. I raised these concerns with State Farm directly and received no response. At this point, it feels less like a safety initiative and more like a deeply flawed advertising scheme intentionally designed to withhold promised discounts.

I am posting this review only after extraordinary review and caution. It would be my greatest hope that State Farm will fix their "Drive Safe & Save," because it's obviously VERY seriously flawed, and I genuinely believe that it's dangerous to even attempt to adhere to it."

"Got insurance in April to be set up for May 1st, it's been a nightmare! Was charger 2 weeks into my policy, for the quoted amount, received next bill for more expensive amount and for some reason they have been having issues applying my daughters good grade discount. It's been a month of phone calls, promises of rectification and still the incompetence continues. Having to call weekly is alarming! Awful!"

"I recently visited State Farm to explore new options for homeowners insurance, and I had the pleasure of working with Hunter Beck. From start to finish, the experience exceeded my expectations.

Not only was Hunter able to provide me with a significantly better rate than I was paying elsewhere, but he also increased my coverage and took the time to explain additional savings opportunities through bundling my auto insurance. The savings were so substantial that I ultimately decided to switch both my homeowners and auto policies.

He also helped my two adult sons transition off of our auto policy and establish policies of their own. In addition, he took the time to explain the benefits of life insurance and helped each of them secure their first life insurance policy, allowing them to qualify for additional multi-policy discounts. What could have been a complicated process was made incredibly easy thanks to Hunter’s guidance, and I truly appreciated the way he helped them take an important step toward financial independence and adulthood.

What truly stood out was Hunter’s professionalism, patience, and genuine commitment to helping me make the best decision for my needs. He was knowledgeable, personable, thorough, and never made me feel rushed or pressured.

Perhaps most impressive was his dedication to customer service. I arrived in the afternoon, and because we reviewed several options and completed multiple policy changes, Hunter stayed well past the end of his workday to make sure everything was handled properly. He could have easily asked me to come back another day, but instead he took the time to see everything through to completion.

That level of commitment speaks volumes about his character, work ethic, and the pride he takes in serving his clients. Exceptional customer service is hard to find these days, and Hunter truly went above and beyond. I am extremely grateful for his help and highly recommend him to anyone looking for an insurance agent who is knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely cares about his clients."

"Made policy change 8:56 am, received email. I was never followed up with no voice mails no emails besides this. This agent lacks communication. I had to personally call to inform them that I submitted this before their day started. 4 minutes before 9am when they open I called at 4pm to check and no one there even started working on it. No one there even knew about it. But I get an automated email an agent will reach out. This state farm representing doesn't care.. they told me best they could is sometime tomorrow even though they had all day for a simple policy change of adding a vehicle. I had a differnt agent before he retired. No choice in choosing I got stuck with this guy who doesn't care about his people. What a joke. All I wanted to do was add a vehicle. Couldn't even get that done over a whole day."

"Worst agent i have ever worked with in my life. keeps calling me to discuss the same things. getting 5 calls every weeks, cant block number since they are my agents. had policy with them since almost two years. when i called and said i want to talk to Jim, they said sorry you have to talk to manager first."
